Welcome to Speedy (“the App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines how we handle location and device data to provide you with a high-precision speedometer and trip tracking experience.

2. Information We Collect

To provide its core functionality, the App collects the following data:

Precise Location Data (GPS): Used to calculate speed, distance, and trip duration in real-time.
Route Coordinates: Latitude and longitude points recorded during a trip to generate visual map paths.
Device Information: Basic technical data required for app stability and advertisement delivery.

                Speedy does not collect personal identifiers such as your name, email address, phone
                number, or contacts.
            

3. Location & Map Data Usage

Active Tracking: Location access is required for the speedometer to function. This data is used only while the App is active and a trip is being tracked.

Interactive Map: We use your coordinates to display your current position on a live map and to render your traveled route history.

No Background Tracking: Speedy does not track your location when the app is closed or when trip tracking is not engaged.

4. Data Storage & Security

Local-First Storage: All your trip history, including speed metrics and route maps, is stored locally on your device using a secure encrypted database.

User Control: You have full control over your data. Trip history can be deleted individually, or all app data can be cleared at any time via the internal settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to enhance your experience:

Google AdMob: Used for displaying advertisements. They may collect device identifiers to serve personalized ads.
OpenStreetMap: Our map feature uses tiles provided by the OpenStreetMap community.

7. Children’s Privacy

Speedy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect or maintain data from anyone under this age group.
